Widespread rain continues in the state for hours. Trivandrum is on orange alert as heavy rain continues as per updated weather report. Kollam, Pathanamthitta and Alappuzha districts are also on yellow alert. All these districts have received heavy rains in the last few hours.
The Central Water Commission informed that the water level at Thiruvananthapuram station in Neyyar river is dangerous. Vellaikatav station on Karamana river, Thumbaman station on Achankovil river in Pathanamthitta and Kallupara station on Manimala river in Kottayam are also on alert.
