In the state today, the possibility of rain persists, with no specific district rain warnings issued. Meanwhile, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Research Center has raised concerns about potential waves and storm surges of 1.0 to 3.0 meters along the coasts of Kerala and south Tamil Nadu until 11:30 PM tonight.Simultaneously, the government of Oman has reissued warnings in anticipation of Cyclone Tej’s landfall. Heavy rainfall is expected in coastal and hilly regions, with additional caution advised along the border with Yemen. Currently, Cyclone Tej has decelerated, delaying its anticipated landfall, which is now predicted to be near the Yemeni coast.

Oman is currently experiencing heavy rainfall in various areas, prompting authorities to urge the public to exercise caution. Regions such as Sada, Mirbat, and Salalah received substantial rainfall during the night. In response, 45 relief camps have been set up in different parts of the governorate, and a team of healthcare workers is prepared to address health-related concerns stemming from Cyclone Tej.
