As part of Keraleem’s campaign, a grand Pulikali procession will descend on the capital today, featuring a sizable group from Thrissur. The Pulikali extravaganza is set to kick off at 3 pm from Kavadiyar and culminate at Manaviyam Veethi around 7 pm, with vibrant performances along the way, including stops at Vellayambalam, Museum, and Kanakakunn.In the spirit of Onam celebrations, a talented troupe led by Satish Netumpura, renowned for their captivating Pulikali performances at Swaraj Round in Thrissur, is making its way to the capital. At 5 pm, a special road show featuring horses will precede the NCC-organized Cavalry exercise, part of Kerala’s cultural festivities.
The chairman of the Keralayam Cultural Committee, MLA Kadakampally Surendran, will flag off the procession at 5 pm from Kavadiyar Square. The event will also be graced by the presence of Major General JS Mankat. Under the guidance of the Kerala Lakshadweep NCC Directorate, the equestrian exercise, performed by the One Kerala Re-Mount and Veterinary Squadron at Mannuthi, will take place from November 1 until 7:50 pm.”
