Permanent principals will be appointed in the colleges of universities of Bihar by August. Bihar State University Service Commission (BSUSC) has started its process. Under this, appointments will be made to the vacant posts of principals in 173 colleges in 12 universities of the state. Maximum appointments are to be made on 30 posts of Principal and two backlog posts in BRA Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. Guidelines regarding principal appointment have also been released on the website. For this, interested candidates can apply online till June 25. For this, the portal will be operational from June 1.
Girish Kumar Choudhary, Chairman of Bihar State University Service Commission, Patna, said that applications will be taken till June 25. After this, hard copies will be submitted till July 10. If everything goes well, the scrutiny and screening process will be completed in July and the result will be released after the interview in August.

BRA Bihar University, Muzaffarpur have 30 Principal’s fresh and two backlog, 28 in LNMV, Darbhanga, five fresh and nine backlog in Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University, Darbhanga, Jai Prakash University Chapra. 10, fresh 10 in Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur, single faculty one, fresh three in PU, backlog one, single faculty four, fresh 15 in Patliputra University, fresh eight in Purnia University, 10 in BN Mandal University, Madhepura and one from single faculty, Five posts are vacant in Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, 16 posts in Munger University and one post of single faculty, 13 fresh posts in Veer Kunar Singh University, Ara and one post of Baglak Principal are vacant. For the appointment of Principal, teaching and research will be of 60 marks, academic administrative score will be of 20 marks and interview will be of 20 marks.
