Maruti 7-Seater Model ‘Grand Vitara’ Coming Soon in Kerala

The Maruti Grand Vitara, a popular SUV model, is expected to launch a seven-seater variant soon. When launched, it will compete with other seven-seater SUVs in the market, including the Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, and more. Despite numerous reports, Maruti Suzuki has not officially announced details about this seven-seater variant.

The seven-seater Grand Vitara is expected to bring competition to SUVs like the Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV700, and Tata Safari. Maruti Suzuki has been tight-lipped about its official announcement, but reports suggest that the new variant might be showcased soon.

The model codenamed Y12, is expected to feature three rows of seating, with the third row being a bench-type arrangement. The current five-seater Grand Vitara already offers a mild-hybrid version with the K15C naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 103 bhp and 137 Nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

The seven-seater variant is likely to share the same engine options, providing a spacious and versatile SUV option for customers. The new Grand Vitara is expected to feature distinctive design changes, and its launch is eagerly anticipated in the Indian market.
