Twitter has launched a feature in India that allows direct voice messaging. Twitter made the announcement in September. The newly introduced feature allows you to send recorded voice messages directly. The company said it would gradually make the new voice DM available to Twitter users in selected countries.
This feature is currently available to select users in India, Brazil, and Japan. However, this feature is still being tested. Therefore, it is not available to everyone. Similar to voice tweets, voice DMs are designed as an in-line recording feature. However, it is not clear whether the Voice DM feature has a specific time limit, such as voice tweets.
As mentioned earlier, this feature is implemented step by step. Therefore, not everyone gets this feature. Go to your DM to check if it exists and try sending a voice message. If you can see the mic icon, you can see that it has this feature.
