The Ministry of Home Affairs has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. Under this recruitment drive, 7 posts of Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer will be filled. These recruitments will be done in Mechanical and Avionics trade. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website mha.gov.in. The recruitment process is going on at present. The last date to apply for recruitment to these posts is 24 June 2024.
Educational Qualification- Must have a graduation degree from a recognized institute or university. It is necessary to have an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License, Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Exam License or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Exam Certificate in any one category of Avionics (E, I, R) / (ES, IS, RN) or (A, C) / (HA and JE). Apart from this, one must also have three years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
Age Limit- The maximum age should not be more than 35 years. The maximum age limit is relaxed by three years for OBC category candidates, five years for SC, ST category candidates and ten years for differently abled persons.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Exam, PST, Documentation and Oral cum Practical Test and Interview. Interview and Personality Test will be of 50 marks.
