Producer and Director T Rama Rao passed away at 83 in Chennai

Veteran director and producer T Rama Rao, who has worked in  Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films, died in Chennai at 83 years old. His death was because of a health-related ailment. He was admitted to a private hospital for an age-related illness. His final rites will take place today (April 20) at Kannammapet crematorium at 4 pm. T Rama Rao is made due by spouse Tatineni Jayashree and kids Chamundeswari, Naga Suuseela, and Ajay. His full name was Tatineni Rama Rao.

Rama Rao has teamed up with many top stars during his vocation including NTR, ANR, Shoban Babu, Krishna, Balakrishna, Sridevi, Jayapradha, Jayasudha, among others. His work includes top-notch projects like Navarathri, Jeevana Tarangalu, Bramachari, Aalumagalu, Yamagola, Presidenti Gari Abbayi, Illalu, Pandani Jeevitham, Pachani Kaapuram, etc.

Not simply in Tamil, he left a solid imprint when entered the Hindi film industry in 1979 and worked with top actors like Amitabh Bachan, Jeetendra, Dharmendra, Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor, Govinda, Mithun Chakraborty. He has the qualification of presenting Superstar Rajinikanth in Hindi with the film Andhaa Kanoon. He made super-strike films in Hindi like Judai, Jeevan Dhara, Ek Hi Book, Andhaa Kanoon, Inqulaab, Insaf Ki Pukar, Watan Ke Rakhwale, Dosti Dushmani, Nache Mayuri, John Jani Janardhan, Raavan Raj, Muqabla, Hathkadi, Jung, etc.

T Rama Rao also got a few awards for his dedication to the Indian Film Industry. Other than his work in media outlets, he was also the Chairman of Madras Hydraulic Hose Pvt Ltd, a leading manufacturer of Stainless Steel Flexible Corrugated Hoses, a company that does worldwide exports.
