CTET: Science questions in CTET confused the candidates

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was held on Sunday at 121 examination centers in the district. Strict security arrangements were made. The questions related to science in the exam troubled the candidates a lot. Student Pooja said that the paper was average. The questions were neither difficult nor easy. Now after the exam, the answer key of the exam will also be released as soon as possible. The CTET result will be announced at the end of August.

The exam was held in offline mode in two shifts. Administrative officers kept running around to prevent any disturbance. Electronic devices such as mobile phones, Bluetooth, earphones, microphones, pagers, health bands, etc. were not allowed to be carried to the centres.

Successful candidates appearing in Paper-1 of CTET will be considered eligible for teacher recruitment for classes 1 to 5. While successful candidates appearing in Paper-2 will be considered eligible for teacher recruitment for classes 6 to 8. Candidates passing this exam can apply for appointment to the post of teachers in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya and Army schools across the country. The validity of CTET certificate will be lifelong.
