There is good news for students waiting for admission in ITI. The online application process has started for admission in five government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) of Gurugram district. There are 2500 seats in all the five ITIs in Gurugram. As soon as the admission portal opened on Friday, students started filling the application forms. On the first day, there were less applications in the male and female ITIs of Sector-14. There was no crowd even at the help desk set up in the ITI to help students apply. Only one or two students took help in applying. After checking the original documents of the students and removing the deficiencies in them, applications were filled for the trade.
The documents of the students seeking admission are being checked at the ITI help desk. This includes the student’s Aadhaar card, mobile number, email ID, educational qualification certificate, family ID, character certificate, Haryana residential certificate, caste certificate, passport size photo, income certificate and a copy of the bank account. 10th pass students will be able to apply online till June 21.

There are 2500 seats in five ITIs in Gurugram. There is a male-female model ITI in Sector 14 of Gurugram. Due to the maximum number of seats here, the number of applications is high. There are 1500 seats in 28 trades in male-female ITI. For men, this includes trades like electrician, fitter, turner, wireman, electronics mechanic, R&AC, DMC, plumber, mechanic, COPA (computer), sheet metal worker, welder, carpenter and sewing technology. Similarly, women ITI includes computer operator programming assistant, stenography in Hindi, physiotherapy technician, electronics mechanic, draftsman mechanical, sewing technology, basic cosmetology, surface ornamentation trade.
These facilities will be available to girl students
For the convenience of girl students of ITI, on taking admission, Haryana Government has provided free bus pass facility for 30 to 60 kms and has waived tuition fees. 30 percent seats are reserved for boys in every trade. On taking admission of girls in many engineering trades, an amount of Rs. 500 per month will be given. For admission, students will have to fill the application online only. Along with this, documents will also have to be uploaded online along with the application form.
Gurugram ITI Principal and Nodal Officer Jaideep Kadyan said, “The portals for admission in male and female ITIs have opened from Friday. 10th pass students have started applying online for admission. Some students are coming here and applying with the help of help desk.”
