NMMS Scholarship: The children of Moradabad division have shown their strength in the National Income and Merit Based Scholarship Examination (NMMS). This time 1002 children from the division have been successful for scholarship as compared to 709 successful children of the session 2023-24. National Income and Merit Based Scholarship Examination is conducted for economically weak talented students. Under this, students of class VIII of government, non-government aided and council schools appear in the examination. After passing the examination, ₹ Students are given a total amount of 48 thousand in four years at the rate of one thousand rupees per month. There is also a provision for reservation in this. The result of the examination 2024-25 has been declared by the Examination Regulatory Authority, Prayagraj. Dr. Kumar Mangalam Saraswat, in-charge of the Divisional Psychology Center, which has been made the nodal center for the examination, said that the scholarship examination was conducted simultaneously in the entire state on November 5, 2023, in which a total of 1002 students from Moradabad division have been successful. In this, 331 students from Bijnor, 225 from Moradabad, 194 from Amroha, 130 from Rampur and 122 students from Sambhal were successful.
In the National Income and Merit Based Scholarship Examination, the number of meritorious students increased 70 times in four years. In Moradabad division, only 14 students were successful in getting this scholarship in 2021-22. Their number increased to 104 in 2022-23. Similarly, their number increased to 709 in the session 2023-24 and to 1002 in the session 2024-25. The special thing is that in Rampur and Sambhal only one student each got scholarship in the session 2021-22, but now this number has increased to 130 in Rampur and 122 in Sambhal.
