Today, December 22, marks the release of Nayanthara’s horror thriller “Connect,” for which the actress has been actively promoting for the previous two days. After the film’s debut on December 19, Nayanthara participated in a media interview where she discussed her marriage with Vignesh Shivan, how becoming a mother has affected her life, and most importantly, how she has now worked in the film industry for 20 years.

Nayanthara allegedly expressed her disbelief at having worked in the film industry for more than two decades. Speaking about her experience in the film business, the actress reportedly stated that when she first started out, there weren’t many female-centric films available, and women weren’t given much credit. She also said that the main reason she stopped going to promotional events was that heroes weren’t treated with respect back then. The actress shared her views on equality in the film industry and stated that both male and female actors and actresses should be treated equally.

Nayanthara and Ashwin Saravanan have worked together on two movies, beginning with ‘Maya’ and continuing with ‘Connect.’ Nayanthara, Anupam Kher, Sathyaraj, and Vinay Rai play significant parts in the movie. Nayanthara is known as the lady boss in Kollywood. She acts in many films and can carry an entire film on her shoulders.

Connect is the first Tamil film to release in cinemas without an intermission. The duration of the movie is 99 minutes. Nayanthara’s recent release was 02, a thriller that entirely unfolds inside a bus that gets stuck in a landslide.
