After the success of 2022, Mammootty is gearing up to begin the year 2023 by collaborating with cinematographer Roby Varghese Raj on a film that is rumored to be a police investigation thriller.
According to reports, the Mammootty-Roby Varghese Raj project will kick off on December 27 with a pooja ceremony. According to reports, Mammootty will join the shoot on January 1 of next year. The film will be shot extensively in major locations in North India and Pala, Kerala.
Mammootty – Roby Varghese Raj’s project will also have the actor Manoj who is best known for the film ‘Thinkalazcha Nishchayam’. Mammootty is said to be playing a cop in the film. More information about the project is expected to be officially announced by the makers soon.
Previously, Roby Varghese Raj has done the cinematography for Mammootty’s action flick ‘The Great Father’ and the mystery thriller film ‘Puthiya Niyamam’. Roby Varghese Raj also did the cinematography of the movies Thattum Purath Achuthan’, ‘Eesho’, ‘Vaashi’, ‘Vellam’, and ‘John Luther’.
Mammootty, on the other hand, will collaborate with director B Unnikrishnan on the upcoming thriller film ‘Christopher‘. According to reports, the trailer for ‘Christopher’ will be released on December 27. Uday Krishna wrote the script for the film, which is based on true events. Mammootty’s new Malayalam film ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’ directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery will release in cinemas in January 2023. The film is mutually produced by Mammootty and Pellissery. The story of the film is based on the events in a quiet town, which is thrown into a state of disbelief when a dead man returns.
