UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Vacancy 2024: Today 14th May is the last date of application for UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2024. All the interested and eligible candidates who have not applied should apply immediately. After completion of the application process, students will also be given the opportunity for correction. The correction window will be open for about seven days from May 15 to May 21. You will also be able to make changes in OTR till May 21. Candidates will not be allowed to withdraw the application. This time a total of 506 vacancies have been released. In this, recruitment will be done on 186 posts of BSF, 120 of CRPF, 100 of CISF, 58 of ITBP and 42 of SSB. The last date for online application is 14 May 2024. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, physical efficiency test and interview. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online by visiting upsconline.nic.in. Those appearing in the examination will have to compulsorily go through the process of one time registration. Those who have completed the OTR formalities do not need to participate in the process again.

1. Educational Qualification –Graduate candidates from any stream can apply for this recruitment.

2. Maximum age limit – 20 to 25 years. That means the candidate must have been born between 2 August 1999 to 1 August 2004. SC, ST category candidates will get 5 years relaxation in age limit as per rules. Whereas OBC candidates will get three years relaxation.

3. Exam Centers
will be allotted to the candidates on first come, first serve basis. This exam will be held in 47 cities of the country. Except Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur, allotment of candidates will be done in limited numbers in all other centres. In such a situation, the one who applies first will benefit. There will be more chances of coming to the preferred centre.

4. Selection process 
will be first of all written examination. Candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Those who clear PET will be called for interview. The final merit list of selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in written examination and marks obtained in interview.

5. Candidates who pass the written examination will be called for PET, the rules of which are as follows –
For men – 100 meter race in 16 seconds. Race 800 in 3 minutes 45 seconds. Long jump of 3.5 meters for which three chances will be given. Shotput of 7.26 kg will have to be thrown up to a distance of 4.5 meters for which three chances will be given.
For women – 100 meter race in 18 seconds. Race 800 in 4 minutes 45 seconds. Long jump of 3 meters for which three chances will be given.

6. What should be the height
of male candidates? Height should be at least 165 cm. Chest should be 81 cm. Apart from this there should be 5 cm expansion.
Female – Height should be at least 157 cm.

7. Written Exam Date
Written exam will be held on 4th August 2024. The first paper will be from 10 am to 12 noon and the second paper will be from 2 pm to 5 pm. There will be negative marking in objective type paper. One third mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

8. Exam Pattern
There will be two papers in the written examination – Paper-1 and Paper-2.
Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence – 250 Marks – Objective Type Questions
Paper II – General Studies, Essay and Comprehension – 200 Marks

9. Fee:
Except women, SC, ST candidates, all other candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 200. Feescan be paid in SBI or through Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card or SBI Internet Banking.

10. NCC B and C certificate holders will be given preference at the time of interview.
