Jharkhand High Court, while hearing the case of not providing an admit card in the Assistant Acharya recruitment examination on Tuesday, has directed JSSC to conduct a separate special examination of 41 candidates who filed the petition within four weeks. Justice Dr SN Pathak’s court gave this direction while hearing the petition of Amrita Kumar and others on Tuesday. The court also directed JPSC to file a reply within six weeks and said that the appointment of these candidates would be affected by the final order of this case. During the hearing, senior advocate Ajit Kumar and advocate Aparajita Bhardwaj on behalf of the applicants told the court that JSSC had issued an advertisement in the year 2023 for the appointment of Assistant Acharya on behalf of the government. Applications were given by the candidates. Meanwhile, the government amended the appointment rules in the year 2024.

The applicants were not given the admit card saying that all of them do not fulfill the conditions of the revised rules. According to that, they do not even have the educational qualification. Whereas another candidate, who has the same educational qualification, has been given the admit card. In such a situation, there can be no discrimination with the candidates. Apart from this, any amendment is valid from the date of implementation. Whereas, the applicants had applied in the year 2023 itself.
