Fahadh Faasil to collaborate once again with Anwar Rasheed

Fahad-Faasil-and-Anwar

Despite the fact that the Fahadh Faasil-starrer Trance, directed by Anwar Rasheed, did not perform well at the box office, it is largely recognized as one of the actor’s and director’s best works. The trio is apparently planning another film together. Fahadh and Anwar, who have been in talks for various projects since Trance, have now agreed to come together for a film. Their cooperation, however, will be as actors and producers, with another young director set to direct the picture.

While there is no official confirmation, we do know that the film will be directed by Jithu Madhavan, who is also the director of the upcoming horror-comedy Romancham, which stars Soubin Shahir and Arjun Ashokan. Anwar will produce the upcoming Fahadh film, which, like Romancham, will be set in Bengaluru.

Anwar’s past productions include Soubin’s Parava, Nivin Pauly’s Premam, and Bangalore Days, in which Fahadh appeared alongside Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Nazim, and Nivin. Meanwhile, Fahadh is working on a number of projects this year.

The actor will resume filming for Allu Arjun’s Pushpa sequel, Pushpa: The Rule, in which he will reprise his role as Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS. In Malayalam, he has also signed Hanuman Gear and Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira. The actor recently wrapped production on Akhil Sathyan’s Pachuvum Athbhuthavilakum and Pawan Kumar’s Dhoomam, both of which are produced by Hombale Films.

In a recent interview before the release of Thankam, which Fahadh co-produced with Syam Pushkaran and Dileesh Pothan, the actor suggested that he would appear in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s upcoming project alongside Vijay, tentatively titled Thalapathy 67. Malayankunju, the actor’s previous film, is now available on Amazon Prime Video.
