Yash Chopra’s Wife Pamela Chopra Passed Away

Mumbai, Singer and famous producer Yash Chopra’s wife Pamela Chopra passed away. He was 85 years old. He was undergoing treatment at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai due to age-related diseases. Pamela has contributed immensely in the fields of playback singer, screenwriter, and film producer. Pamela Chopra was born in 1938 as the daughter of Indian Army officer Mohinder Singh. Practicing Bharatanatyam from a young age, Pamela never performed a dance in public.

She got married to Yash Chopra in 1970. Pamela Chopra became active in the art scene after marriage. Pamela wrote the screenplay for the 1976 film Kabhi Kabhi, directed by Yash Chopra and starring Amitabh Bachchan and Shashikapur. He also sang two songs from the film. The song has been sung for films like Doosra Aadmi, Trishul, Silsila, Baazaar, Dur, and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayege. Shamayam has been prepared for the films Silsila and Sawal. She independently produced the film Aina in 1993.
