Vijay Sethupathi to work with choreographer turned director Brinda

Dance choreographer turned director Brinda, made her debut with the film ‘Hey Sinamika’. The film was released in theaters in March. The film featuring Dulquer Salmaan, Kajal Aggarwal, and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles, got blended reviews and it effectively ran in theaters for around fourteen days.

Presently, the new buzz is that Brinda is said to direct her next film including Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. There has been no official declaration yet and it is normal that the cast, group, and the name of the new film will be reported soon. It is also said that the shooting for the new film will start in May.

In the interim, Vijay Sethupathi is waiting for the release of the movie ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’.The film is directed by Vignesh Shivan. ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ movie features Nayanthara and Samantha as female leads. The film is ready to release on big screens on April 28. Additionally, Vijay Sethupathi has ‘Vikram’ and ‘Maamanithan’ which are likewise planned to release this year. He has finished shooting for his movie with director Ponram and is presently going for his Bollywood debut ‘Merry Christmas’ along with Katrina Kaif.

The film is said to be a ‘festive thriller’, Merry Christmas marks Raghavan’s first collaboration with actor Vijay Sethupathi. Merry Christmas will be bankrolled by Ramesh Taurani’s Tips Industries in association with Matchbox Pictures Pvt. Ltd. The film is scheduled to release on December 23, 2022. Katrina Kaif will make her debut in the South film industry with this movie.
