After Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, director Vignesh Shivan will helm Ajith’s 62nd film. Tentatively named AK62, the venture is supposed to go on the floors in 2022 itself. Reports have been doing the rounds that Vijay Sethupathi will play the main adversary in the film, attributable to the dear fellowship of Vijay Sethupathi and Vignesh Shivan. However, presently, the Master entertainer has explained that he isn’t part of the film.
Vijay Sethupathi was recently questioned by a fan assuming he is a part of AK62. To this, the actor replied that he himself had asked Vignesh Shivan if he has any such plans, after reading media reports. Yet, appears as though the director has no expectation of giving him a role as a bad guy in his next. Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to give music to his forthcoming performer.
The entertainer-director couple has prior worked in the 2015 flick Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and the recent 2022 release Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. The film is bankrolled by Lyca Productions, the flick has been declared quite recently and consequently, the other cast and group insights regarding it are hush.
On the work front, it is believed that Ajith has planned a road trip in Europe after wrapping up AK61 with H Vinoth. It is their third film together after Valimai and Nerkonda Paarvai. The entertainer has started the first timetable of the film in Hyderabad.
