According to media sources, Ranveer Singh is slated to star in the remake of Telugu actor Ravi Teja’s 2021 film, Krack, after the failure of Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus. Teja and Shruti Haasan appeared in the original Telugu movie, which became one of the box-office successes of the year. Ranveer Singh’s recent film did not get positive feedback from the crowds.

Ranveer Singh has given three consecutive flop movies. Despite positive reviews and praise for his performance, his 2021 movie 83 is said to have failed to recoup its production costs.
After 83, Singh acted in Yash Raj Films’ Jayeshbhai Jordaar, another abject failure, and then Cirkus.

Gopichand Malineni, who directed the original, is reportedly also going to head the Bollywood remake, which will have Singh in the starring position. According to reports, Mythri Movie Makers, one of Tollywood’s biggest production companies, and Allu Arvind’s Geetha Arts would support the movie together. There isn’t an official statement from the creators on this as of yet.

The confrontation between a police inspector and a gangster served as the basis for the action thriller. The crowd responded positively to the movie. Its narrative approach is credited with drawing inspiration from the 2018 Kannada film Tagaru. The epidemic caused a delay in Krack’s shooting, which started in 2019 but wasn’t finished until January 2021.

Cirkus, Singh’s most recent film, has apparently become his second box-office dud of the year. James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water, which debuted on December 23, has hammered the movie. Cirkus’ earnings on the sixth day of box office receipts were only Rs 2.25 crore. With this, it is said that the sum has apparently increased to just over Rs 25 crore.

Malineni is currently preparing for the release of Veera Simha Reddy while also apparently directing the Hindi remake of Krack. The movie’s Sankranthi release date is January 12, 2023, and stars Nandamuri Balakrishna and Shruti Haasan. Kannada actor Duniya Vijay will be shown as a villain.
