One of the busiest actresses in South Indian film, Rashmika Mandanna, is now enjoying a successful run with a number of highly anticipated movies. The vivacious actress plans to start off 2023 strong with her big project Varisu. Rashmika and Thalapathy Vijay work together for the first time in the film, which is billed as a family comedy. The actress has just made her debut in Bollywood with the family drama Goodbye and worked with legendary Amitabh Bachchan.
Rashmika Mandanna, meantime, was recently photographed in front of Bollywood master director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office. She wore a casual yellow suit and looked lovely with minimal makeup and unstyled hair. The Pushpa actress, who can also be seen in the photos with a face mask, waved to the onlookers as she left the Gangubai Kathiawadi director’s office. Now, rumor has it that the actress, who intends to work in both the South and Bollywood industries moving forward, may have another Bollywood project in the works. Official affirmations of these stories have not yet been made.
Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming film in the South, Varisu, is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and is Thalapathy Vijay’s first direct foray into Telugu cinema. The supposedly multilingual Tamil-Telugu film is expected to be released in theatres during the Pongal season of 2023. Pushpa: The Rule, the second entry in the Pushpa franchise, is now under production with Rashmika Mandanna. In the movie, the actress stars as Pushpa’s lady love Srivalli. Allu Arjun plays the title role.
Unconfirmed rumors say that Rashmika Mandanna and her Sarileru Neekevvaru co-star Mahesh Babu may work together again on a future Trivikram Srinivas production. If the reports are to be believed, she is roped in to make a special appearance in the film, which features Pooja Hegde as the female lead. Apart from that Rashmika will be seen in Hindi film-Mission Majnu and the psychological thriller Animal.
