Two persons have been arrested for stealing 31 sovereigns of gold from actress Jayabharathi’s house in Chennai. Ibrahim, the driver of the house and Bahadur, a security guard, were arrested. The actress lodged a complaint with the police that she lost gold on March 5. The two have been arrested following a probe. The actress said that the gold was missing from them.
The call taxi driver Ibrahim and his accomplice were arrested from Nepal. The actress had complained to the police that she had stolen 31 sovereigns of gold. The actress said that the gold was missing from the accused.
According to Ibrahim, the theft was reported. The theft took place on Saturday, when Attukal Pongala was on his way to Thiruvananthapuram.
