Actor Unni Mukundan has faced a heavy blow in the case of insulting women. The High Court lifted the order staying the trial of the case. In the High Court bribery case, accused Saibi Jose appeared and obtained a favorable verdict. The High Court observed that the production of an affidavit in the name of the victim was serious. The court was told that the case was settled.

The victim’s lawyer informed the court that no settlement was reached. The High Court said that cheating cannot be allowed in front of the court. The court suggested that it would be sufficient for the lawyer to reply. But Unnimukundan’s lawyer Saibi Jose was not present today. Unni instructed Mukundan to file a reply affidavit. The case is that he tried to rape a young woman who had come to talk about the script at a flat in Kochi and insulted womanhood. The case will be heard again on the 17th.
