The central Government has give good news for producers

The Central Government has given good news to the movie makers. Films usually shot in historic locations have had to pay a fee in terms of location. But from December 25, 2020, to August 15, 2021, there is no charge for shootings at historic sites in historic places.

This only applies to films of national importance. For this, permission has to be obtained online first. Union Culture Minister Prahlad Singh Patel has said that as part of the 75th Independence Day celebrations, the Archaeological Survey of India will exempt the payment of fees for shooting at monuments.

The minister said the exemption would apply from former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birthday (December 25) to next year’s Independence Day. It can be said that the producers got some solace with the announcement of the central government.
