Suriya has joined hands with director Siruthai Siva for a mega-budget action drama and the film has been tentatively titled ‘Suriya 42’. The film’s production began a few months ago, and the crew recently completed a short schedule in Chennai. According to the most recent reports, Suriya will wear 13 different looks in Siruthai Siva’s directorial. ‘Suriya 42’ is described as a period action drama, with Suriya playing five different characters as the story progresses. He’ll also be seen in a total of 13 different looks, ensuring a versatile performance.
Suriya previously sported ten different looks for the 2009 crime thriller ‘Ayan,’ directed by KV Anand, which was his most number of looks to date. According to the latest reports, Suriya will break his own record with his 42nd film, directed by Siruthai Siva, and the film’s popularity is growing by the day.
Disha Patani makes her Kollywood debut as the female lead opposite Suriya in ‘Suriya 42,’ which will also be released in 3D. Suriya has become a superfit for the film, as he will be seen shirtless in some of the period drama’s action scenes. The team will travel to Kerala in January to shoot some major portions in the forest region, which will be a month-long shoot.
The Kerala schedule of the movie will begin after the Pongal festival. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music for the movie. The creators have already announced that the movie will be released in 10 different languages in 2D and 3D formats. Popular production houses Studio Green and UV Creations jointly produce this mega movie.
