US supermodel Gigi Hadid was arrested in the Cayman Islands for possession of marijuana. They were arrested on July 10 at the Owen Roberts International Airport on the island. Madal reached the island with his friend by private jet. They were later released on bail after paying a fine of Rs. Local newspaper Keymen Mall Road reported that cannabis and paraphernalia were found in Hadid’s luggage. Both were arrested and transferred to the Prisoner Detention Center. He was released on bail from here.
She said in a statement that the cannabis was legally purchased in New York with a medical license. The Caribbean island of Grand Cayman has legalized the use of cannabis for medical purposes since 2017. After the release, she shared pictures from the island through Instagram.
