Spadikam4k Received A Grand Reception Abroad To Second Visit

This is the first time in Malayalam that a classic film is hitting theaters after remastering. The theater owners themselves were in doubt whether people would come to watch the film which Malayalis have been watching on television and other channels for the last 28 years. But the film received a response that dispelled all those doubts. It is reported that the film has collected 3 crores from 160 screens in Kerala in the four days till Sunday.

But not only in Kerala but also in other states and foreign markets, the film is getting an enthusiastic response. The film has been released on around 100 screens in other states of India and in 40 countries abroad. The first-weekend collection of the film from 46 screens in the UK and Ireland is reported to be 14,000 Euros. That is 14 lakh rupees. This is the second-highest gross for a Malayalam film in the UK this year. Tangam directed by Saheed Arafat is in the first position.

Various box office trackers report that the film collected 56 lakhs in the GCC and 6.6 lakhs in the US on its opening weekend. Malayalees in the UK welcomed the second coming of Sphadikam with warm-ups including Chendamela.
