South stars pays tribute to legendary actor Krishna

Superstar Krishna, a legendary figure in Tollywood, died this morning at around 4 AM. He was 79 years old. At a private hospital in Hyderabad, the renowned actor and Mahesh Babu’s father experienced cardiac arrest and passed away. The Ghattamaneni family, who are enduring consecutively difficult times, as well as the Telugu cinema industry, have been deeply affected by the terrible news.

Fans are using the hashtag #RIPLegend on Twitter to express their sorrow over the passing of their idol, famous Telugu actor Krishna, who died on Tuesday morning. A number of South Indian movie stars, including Chiranjeevi, Nani, Radhika Sarathkumar, and others, paid tribute to the legendary actor and expressed their condolences to Mahesh Babu on social media.

Chiranjeevi took to his social media and shared a note as he remembered Krishna, “This is a tragedy beyond words. I can’t believe that Superstar Krishna is leaving us. He is a kind hearted Himalayan mountain. A shout for adventure is synonymous with bravery. Courage, adventure, perseverance, humanity, goodness. Krishna is the combination of these. Such a great man is rare not only in the Telugu film industry but also in the Indian film industry. A tearful tribute to Krishna who has done so many adventures that the Telugu film industry can be proud of. My deepest condolences to my brother Mahesh Babu, all his family members and his innumerable fans, wishing his soul to rest in peace. Ghattamaneni’s family.”

Nagarjuna Akkineni wrote on Twitter, “A Fearless man who attempted every genre!! The original cowboy of Telugu films!! I could sit with him for hours which were filled with his positivity the man the legend the superstar!!#RIPSuperStarKrishnaGaru we will miss you.”

Samantha Ruth Prabhu also paid tribute to superstar Krishna. She tweeted, “My heartfelt condolences to @urstrulyMahesh garu and the whole family.#RIPSuperStarKrishnaGaru. You will live forever in our memories.”

Rajinikanth paid tribute to Krishna and wrote, “The demise of Krishna garu is a great loss to the Telugu film industry … working with him in 3 films are memories i will always cherish. My heartfelt condolences to his family …may his soul rest in peace.”

Actress Radhika Sarathkumar shared a memory of working with on a movie and wrote, “Deeply saddened on the passing of #KrishnaGaru a man who made a great mark as a #SuperStarKrishna . May his soul #RIPKrishnaGaru . My condolences to @urstrulyMahesh and family in these trying times.”
