Dhanush, who was most recently seen in “Naane Varuvaen,” is getting up for the December release of “Vaathi,” his fifth movie of the year. On December 2, a bilingual film in Tamil and Telugu, directed by Venky Atluri, will be released in theatres. Samyuktha Menon and Dhanush will play the key characters. After “Vaathi,” Dhanush will start shooting his next project, “Captain Miller,” which is being directed by Arun Matheswaran. After the muhurat pujah last month, the film began production.
According to the latest information, the second round of scheduled filming will start on December 1 and Kannada actor Shivrajkumar will join Dhanush on the sets to film the movie’s action scene. By April 2023, it’s probable that all of the film’s principal photography will have been completed, after which post-production will begin. The team is planning to complete the entire shooting of the film by April next year.
“Captain Miller,” a movie with Dhanush in the protagonist role and a 1940s setting, tells the tale of an LTTE activist’s revolt. GV Prakash created the movie’s score, and Shreyaas Krishna and Nagooran, respectively, handled the film’s cinematography and editing. The movie also stars Sundeep Kishan. Priyanka Arul Mohan will be playing the female lead. The film directed by Arun Matheswaran is being shot on a grand scale by Sathya Jyothi Films. The film is co-produced by G. Saravanan and Sai Siddharth.
Madhan Karky, who worked for big-budget films like the Baahubali franchise, RRR, and Pushpa, has penned dialogues for the Tamil version of the film.
