Sanjay Dutt’s Thalapathy 67 character poster revealed

Thalapathy 67, Thalapathy Vijay’s highly anticipated 67th film in Tamil cinema, was recently launched. The big-budget picture, directed by the extremely skilled Lokesh Kanagaraj, is undoubtedly one of the most-anticipated future projects from the South Indian cinema industry. Many unsubstantiated rumours about the Thalapathy 67 cast have been circulating since filmmaker Lokesh stated that he is reuniting with Thalapathy Vijay. The makers have now put the rumours to an end by publicly revealing the film’s supporting cast.

On January 31, Tuesday, the makers of Thalapathy 67 presented the character posters of eight actors who have been cast in supporting roles in the film. It has now been officially revealed that renowned Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt would portray the primary adversary in Vijay’s film. As previously reported, brilliant filmmakers Gautham Menon and Mysskin, as well as senior actor Arjun Sarja, have joined the project.

The creators of Thalapathy 67 said in a charming message welcoming Sanjay Dutt onboard to portray the primary antagonist. “We feel esteemed to welcome @duttsanjay sir to Tamil Cinema and we are happy to announce that he is a part of #Thalapathy67.” They also presented the senior Bollywood star’s first glimpse, as well as a special message from Dutt himself. “When I heard the one liner of Thalapathy 67, I knew in that exact moment I had to be a part of this film and I’m thrilled to start this journey,” reads his message.
