Rishab Shetty’s Kantara OTT release date confirmed

The cinemas have been raving about Rishab Shetty’s movie Kantara. Daily box office increases for the movie are outstanding, and it is expected to shortly join the Rs 400 cr club. The Kannada movie’s internet debut has also made news with its exceptional success. The online release of Kantara is anticipated by fans. Although the creators have not yet revealed a date, there are numerous rumors that it has.

On November 24, Kantara will be available on Amazon Prime Video, according to trade tracking handles. All of the major South Indian languages will be offered for the film. The streaming service and the creators have yet to confirm this, though.

On September 30 and October 14, respectively, the Kannada and Hindi versions of “Kantara” were released. Rishab Shetty wrote and helmed the movie. The movie, which was produced by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda under the banner of Hombale Films, also prominently featured Sapthami Gowda and Kishore Kumar G.

“Kantara” is set in coastal Karnataka and explores the conflict between man and the environment as well as land politics. The movie, which was filmed in Keraadi in coastal Karnataka, portrays Rishabh as a Kambala champion who is at odds with Murali, an honorable DRFO officer (Kishore). The action-thriller movie, which debuted on September 30, was written, produced, and directed by Rishab.

After earning outstanding box office receipts, the movie is currently garnering popularity online due to an alleged plagiarism charge regarding one of its songs, “Varaha Roopam.” A band from Kerala named “Thaikkudam Bridge” claims that the creators of the Kannada movie plagiarised their song “Navarasam.”
