When “Pulimurugan” director Vysakh and Mohanlal teamed together for the movie “Monster,” anticipations were at their highest. Unfortunately, Mohanlal’s “Monster” failed to wow the public due to a poor narrative and screenplay, and the movie is preparing for its November 25 OTT release.
From November 25 forward, “Monster” will be accessible on a well-known OTT platform, and it is anticipated that the movie will find a suitable audience following the OTT premiere. On October 21, “Monster” debuted on major motion picture screens to mixed reviews. The movie would have performed well on OTT, according to some online users. One reviewer claimed that Honey Rose’s performance was the only thing that the film had going for it.
The narrative for Mohanlal’s “Monster,” directed by Vysakh, was written by Uday Krishna, who previously worked on the forgettable movie “Aaraattu.” The movie’s camera was turned on by Satheesh Kurup, and Shameer Muhammed handled the editing. The crowd wasn’t really impressed by Deepak Dev’s music.
Mohanlal plays the role of an entrepreneur named Lucky Singh. The story revolves around his character visiting Kochi for a day and being chauffeured around by Honey Rose’s character. How Lucky Singh enters her family’s life, leading to a series of incidents that eventually end up with her being the prime suspect she didn’t commit, forms the plot of the film.
Along with Mohanlal, notable roles in “Monster” were also played by Honey Rose, Johny Antony, Lakshmi Manchu, Sudev Nair, Idavela Babu, Biju Pappan, Lenaa, Siddique, and Swasika. The film is produced by Aashirvad Cinemas.
