Rajasthan Teacher Recruitment 2021: Education Minister Dotasara has given important updates to lakhs of candidates waiting for updates related to computer teacher recruitment in Rajasthan. Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara tweeted late on Friday and said that he has held an important meeting with all the officials regarding computer teacher recruitment and many other issues.

This tweet of the Education Minister has now raised hopes that soon some big news may come out regarding computer teacher recruitment. The process of teacher recruitment can be accelerated by the government. It is noteworthy that on June 19, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had approved the creation of 10,453 new posts of computer teachers and immediate recruitment of contract teachers in the state.
Creation of 10,453 posts for new cadre of computer teachers With the 
objective of improving the quality of education in government schools of the state and connecting students with computer education, the state government had decided to create a new cadre of computer teachers. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had also given approval for the creation of 10,453 posts in this regard and necessary immediate recruitment on contract basis.

According to the approved proposal, a total of 9,862 posts of Basic Computer Instructor and 591 Senior Computer Instructor will be created in the Education Department. The pay scale and desired qualification for Basic Computer Instructor will be equivalent to the post of Information Assistant in the Department of Information Technology and for Senior Computer Instructor the pay scale and qualification will be equivalent to the post of Assistant Programmer in the Department of Information Technology.

At present, ITC labs are operating in 10,680 government secondary or higher secondary schools, out of which instructors have been provided by the service provider firm in more than 800 schools. One post each for Basic Computer Instructor will be created in the remaining schools.

In addition, in the first phase, one post each will be created for senior computer instructor in higher secondary schools and Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalayas with maximum enrollment in each district and block. Out of the total posts of Senior Computer Instructor, 75 percent posts will be filled through direct recruitment and 25 percent posts will be filled through promotion on passing scrutiny examination from amongst Basic Computer Instructors working in the department.

According to the proposal, during the contractual appointment, Basic Computer Instructor will get Rs 18,500 per month as remuneration, Rs 23,700 per month for Senior Computer Instructor and Rs 33,800 per month for Senior Computer Instructor on promotion. Eligible candidates will be employed on these posts with full transparency through competitive examination under necessary urgent recruitment on contract basis.
