Anushka Shetty and Madhavan will be playing the main lead in the movie. A new poster for the film has been released. The film also features Anjali and Shalini Pandey in the lead roles. The film is directed by Hemant Madhukar. The film has been scripted by Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan. It was years later that Madhavan and Anushka acted together.
After almost a year, Baahubali actress Anushka Shetty is back with her next flick, Nishabdam. Directed by Hemant Madhukar, the film boasts of an ensemble cast including Anushka, Madhavan, Shalini Pandey, Anjali and Kill Bill fame Michael Madsen in important roles. On September 11, the makers unveiled the first look posters of Nishabdam. Going by the posters, it is clear that the film will be released in four languages namely Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and English (titled Silence).
Nishabdam is jointly produced by People Media Factory and Kona Film Corporation. The makers have kept details of the film under wraps. Madhavan and Anushka Shetty have acted together in Tamil film titled Rendu, which was directed by Sundar C. After 13 years, the two actors have reunited for Nishabdam.
Sources in the know say that Nishabdam/Silence will be a unique attempt by the filmmaker. The team had been shooting the film in various locations in the US as the story is set there. The technical crew of Nishabdam/Silence includes Gopi Sunder for music and Shaneil Deo for cinematography.
Anushka was last seen playing the lead role in Bhaagamathie that released in 2018. Among her most notable performances is that of Devasena from the Baahubali franchise.
