Naga Chaitanya has spoken out about his divorce from Samantha Ruth Prabhu while promoting his most recent movie, “Thank You.” In October 2021, Chaitanya and Samantha made their divorce public. Since then, a number of news articles have appeared online with various claimed causes for their breakup.
Currently, Chaitanya has discussed his life since splitting from Samantha.“During this period, I have changed a lot as a person. Earlier I could not open up much. But now I am able to. Feeling very much attached to my family members and friends. It feels very nice to see myself as an entirely new person,” said Naga Chaitanya in an interview with a news channel.
There were rumours that Naga Chaitanya was dissatisfied with Samantha’s choice to accept challenging jobs. In fact, according to some unconfirmed sources, Naga Chaitanya’s father Nagarjuna Akkineni was also dissatisfied with Samantha’s decision to continue performing in daring scenes and item numbers in her films after getting married. Soon after Samantha revealed their split on Koffee With Karan 7, Chaitanya made this comment. The actress opened up about her life after the divorce and was seen correcting Karan Johar when he inadvertently referred to Chaitanya as her spouse rather than her ex-husband.
It has been hard. But it’s good now. It’s fine. I am stronger than I have ever been,” she said. Karan asked her if there are any hard feelings. The actress replied, “Are there hard feelings like if you put us both in a room, you have to hide sharp objects?” “Yeah, as of now, yes,” Samantha replied. “So it’s not an amicable situation right now,” KJo prompted her. “Not right now, but maybe sometime in the future, yeah,” she replied.
After removing Naga Chaitanya’s family name, Akkineni, from her social media accounts, Samantha fueled split rumours. After rumours about the pair spread, they jointly declared their separation in October.
