Naga Chaitanya requests fans not to imitate his tattoo

The fact that Naga Chaitanya and Samantha, have matching tattoos is well known. After a few months of being apart, he finally revealed the meaning of his morse code tattoo. Additionally, he asked his followers not to imitate the tattoo, which bears the wedding date of him and Samantha. The actor even admitted that he currently has no plans to have the tattoo removed.

Chaitanya discussed his tattoo in an interview. “I met a few fans that had this tattoo imitating my name and everything else” (gesturing to his forearm). You wouldn’t want to try to replicate this. It’s the day of my wedding. So I won’t want the fans to put that,” said the actor. The Love Story star was then questioned about whether he has considered modifying or getting rid of the tattoo. I haven’t given it any thought up until now, he said. Nothing has to be changed. It’s alright.

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya got married in 2017, but they divorced after four years. The two made their split official in a joint statement in October 2021. Samantha recently claimed on Koffee With Karan that her divorce from Naga Chaitanya was not amicable.

Recently, Naga Chaitanya opened up in an interview that he is bored talking about his divorce from Samantha. Reacting to news being written about him and Samantha constantly post-separation, Naga Chaitanya said, “we both came out and put our statements and we both have immense respect for each other. I always look up to what she is doing. And there will always be great respect for her. That’s about it. We said what we have too. Beyond that, it’s just people trying to fill up columns and there’s nothing else. I mean I’m bored of it. I have been through three releases and I’m still attached to it.”
