Famous music director N.P. Prabhakaran passed away at the age of 75. He died due to chest pain. His native place is Tiruvanjoor in the Kottayam district. The cremation will be at Kottayam tomorrow at 2 o’clock. He had left for Thiruvananthapuram by night train. He felt chest pain near Thrissur.
The railway officials who came to know the information took him to a private hospital in Thrissur but he died. Retired as Section Officer from Calicut University. He has composed music for films like Poonilav, Alakananda, Anapara Achamma, Ival Draupadi, and Anuyatra. Won the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy Award.
