North Eastern Railway Apprentice posts: If you want to work in Indian Railways, then this is a great opportunity for you. North Eastern Railway has invited applications for recruitment to various apprenticeship posts. Through which 1,104 posts will be filled. Candidates who are interested in becoming a part of North Eastern Railway are advised to first read the information related to the recruitment, only then start the further process.
Educational qualification
Only those candidates can apply for apprenticeship posts, who have passed class 10th with at least 50 percent marks from any recognized institute, along with having ITI certificate.
Age Limit
The age of the candidates for this post should be between 15 to 24 years as on June 12. However, the upper age limit has been increased by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, for OBC candidates it has been increased by 3 years. On the other hand, Divyang candidates will be given a relaxation of 10 years in the age limit.
Last date of application
North Eastern Railway started registration for recruitment to various apprenticeship posts from June 12. The last date for filling the form has been fixed as July 11. Candidates are advised to fill the application form before the last date.
Know how the exam will be
Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit by considering their average pass percentage marks in matriculation and marks obtained in ITI examination. Verification of the candidates will be done in Gorakhpur. Before the final selection, the candidates will also have to undergo a medical examination.
