Four candidates who appeared in the recruitment exam conducted for the post of Police Constable in Kaithal district of Haryana have been caught red-handed with the answer keys of the question paper. The state police gave this information on Sunday. At the same time, the Congress has demanded a CBI probe into the paper leak case under the supervision of the High Court. The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) on Saturday canceled the written examination for the recruitment of male police constables amid the information about paper leaks. An official statement issued on Sunday said that the Kaithal Police has arrested four candidates. Police is doing further investigation in the matter.
The opposition has intensified its attack on the BJP-led government of the state over this issue. Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala has demanded a high court-monitored CBI probe into the alleged leak of police constable recruitment exam papers. He has also asked the government to release a white paper on the jobs given to the youth in the last seven years.
