CBSE 12th Exam 2021 Live Updates: CBSE and Union Ministry of Education can give their verdict on the 12th board examinations today. According to government sources, PM Modi will hold an important meeting for the 12th exams today at 5 pm. In the meeting, they will be told about the various options emerging from the suggestions and extensive discussions from all the states and stakeholders.
After the high-level meeting chaired by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on May 23, Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank had said that the final decision on the 12th board examinations would be taken on or before June 1. Apart from this, the central government also said in the Supreme Court on Monday that a decision on the 12th board examinations would be taken within two days. Apart from this, the states have also sent their suggestions regarding the conduct of examinations to the Ministry of Education. That is, now just waiting for the decision of CBSE and Union Ministry of Education.

Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Tuesday due to problems related to it after recovering from Covid-19 infection.
Special features of the first option:
1- The examinations should be conducted at the prescribed examination centers, which are limited.
2 – Examination of only 19 major subjects should be conducted.
3-Performance in less important subjects should be assessed on the basis of performance in major subjects.
4- According to this option, one month is required for pre-examination activities and two months for conducting the examination and declaring the result. After this 30 days are required for compartment examination.
5- According to the second option, the examination can be held only when the board has at least three months of safe time available.
6-The likely month to conduct the examinations can be August and the whole process will be over by the end of September.
7-If, for some reason, the time of three months is not available and the circumstances are not favorable for conducting a safe examination, then this option will not be practical.
Key facts of the second option:
1-CBSE board can conduct 12th class exams twice.
2- Where there are favorable conditions, the examination can be started from the appropriate date. After this, the examinations at the remaining places will start after 15 days.
3- If a student is unable to take the exam on the due date due to Corona related reasons, then he should be given a second chance to appear in the examination.
4- The question papers will be sent electronically so that there is no need to engage vehicles in the examinations. Emphasis on making the conduct of examinations flexible and responsible.

It also states that the student will have to provide one language and three elective papers. Whereas in the fifth and sixth papers, he will be given marks based on the previous examination.
In the first option, emphasis was on the rules of the board: In the
first option, it was proposed to conduct the examination of 19 major subjects at the examination centers set by the board, in which the rest of the examination was said to be conducted under the rules of the board. The government said that it may take three months to complete this process. The central government has also said that there are chances of suitable conditions for the examination by July or August. Some states have talked about conducting examinations by combining some of the points one and two of options.
