During a press conference related to Gas Light, the actor mentioned South Indian language films.

Rahul Dev pointed out that South Indian films are performing well even though they are following the pattern of the 70s and 80s. The dialogues and actors in these films are different from real life. Rahul also said that there will be conflict scenes in the films that may not happen in real life. The way they tell the story keeps the audience entertained and captivated. It’s all about the way the story is told and how the audience perceives it. I believe such roles will reach me too.
