Assam UG, PG Admission 2024: Revised schedule released for admission in these courses

Assam UG, PG Admission 2024:The Higher Education Department of the Government of Assam has revised the schedule for admission to the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP), Five-Year Integrated Postgraduate Programme (FYIPGP), and Five-Year Integrated Master’s Programme (FYIMP) for 2024. Due to the flood-like situation in the state, the department has extended the deadline for taking admission in the above-mentioned courses. Now this is a great opportunity for the students who want to apply for these courses.  

Let us tell you, the revised schedule will be applicable to the currently participating Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs). As per the revised schedule, admissions for FYUGP, FYIMP and FYIPGP based on first merit list through non-CUET mode will start from June 20 to June 22 respectively. Spot admissions are scheduled to take place from June 29 to July 1.

Students who have appeared in the CUET exam can take admission till July 31. The first merit list will be released on July 9, the second merit list on July 12 and the third merit list on July 16. Spot admission will be held from July 19 to July 20, and the final spot admission (for both CUET and non-CUET) will be held from July 29 to July 31.

The revised schedule for admission to FYUGP (four-year undergraduate programme), FYIMP (five-year integrated master’s programme), and FYIPGP (five-year integrated postgraduate programme) in the state is as follows.

For Non-CUET

Admission of applicants in 1st Merit Lilt: June 20 – June 22

Colleges can take admissions on June 23 if required: June 23

Preparation and Publication of 2nd Merit List: June 24 – June 25 (2nd merit list will be released from midnight and the second batch will be published from June 24 to June 25 at 3 PM)

Entry of applicants in the second merit list: June 26, June 27 and June 28

Spot Admission: 29 June – 1 July

For CUET

Selection of Program : 1st July – 2nd July
