Ajith starrer Thunivu overseas digital theatrical rights sold

As the days go by, Team Thunivu is developing interesting announcements. Recently, Udhayanidhi’s Red Giant Movies made an official announcement about acquiring the theatrical rights to the film in Tamil Nadu. The information that Netflix also acquired the film’s digital rights thrilled crowds.

Regarding the project’s international rights, there have been a lot of speculative discussions. Recently, Lyca Productions announced that they have purchased the movie’s international theatrical rights. The production company’s social media page expressed excitement about working with the movie’s financiers, Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios, on the project.

They continued by saying that working with Ajith Kumar is a pleasure, thrilling his followers. The star’s upcoming film, tentatively named AK 62, will be made by Lyca Productions and directed by Vignesh Shivan. The production firm keeps mum on the overseas rights, despite a number of figures making the rounds on social media.

The first song from Thunivu, named Chilla Chilla, is currently being liked by the public. The upbeat song’s music was written by Ghibran, and Anirudh and Vaisagh contributed vocals and lyrics, respectively. At a movie’s pre-release event, the composer recently disclosed the song’s genre.

After giving a standout performance in Asuran, Manju Warrier returns to Kollywood with Thunivu. The movie, which will be released as a Pongal release, stars Kavin, Samuthirakani, Prem Kumar, John Kokken, and Veera among others. Even though there have been rumors that the movie will be released on January 12, 2023, the producers have yet to announce the precise date.
