Adipurush Witnesses Sudden Drop In Fourth Day Collections

According to reports, Adipurush directed by Om Raut faced a huge setback at the box office on its fourth day. According to trade analysts, the film, whose makers had claimed a total collection of Rs 340 crore in the first three days, saw a 75 percent drop in its collection on Monday. Starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh, the Hindi version of the film collected Rs 8.5 crore on Friday. The film’s four-day Hindi total is around Rs 108.5 crore. It is said that this is the indication of the end of the initial at the beginning of the film. It is reported that the same trend will be reflected in the total collection.

Adipurush collected Rs 100 crores in the first weekend at the Hindi belt. Despite the negative reviews, the film’s strong collection led to the weekend’s early bookings. This helped the film to have a flawless weekend at the collection despite the mixed response and controversies. But Monday’s collection was important for the film. If it was less than 20 crores, the film might not survive this week, according to trade analysts. It is almost true. The film’s gross projection is around 120-125 crores in Hindi in the first week. Sometimes up to 150 crores may be achieved.

The total running collection of the film is estimated to be less than 400 crores worldwide. This is a poor collection for a film that collected around Rs 270 crores in the first weekend especially as the makers themselves claim that the film cost 500 crores. Adipurush will be the second or third highest grosser of the year if the predicted collections are anything to go by. But considering its budget and the fact that it is based on Ramayana, the truth is that the collection is quite inadequate, market analysts say.
