Yogi Babu is perhaps the most active actor in Tamil film with many movies in his kitty. Assuming reports to be true, Yogi Babu has been roped in to play an important character in Vijay’s ‘Thalapathy 66’. Yogi Babu, who has been an active social media user, has taken to his Twitter to confirm his presence by sharing a photograph. This will be the pair’s fifth film. In the last five years, Yogi Babu has missed sharing screen space with Vijay only in the movie ‘Master‘

Yogi Babu has prior worked with Thalapathy Vijay in the movies ‘Mersal’, ‘Sarkar’, ‘Bigil’, and ‘Beast’. Vijay has also given the space for the comedy actor to perform by allowing him to tease the actor on big screens, and this made the duo join again and again.
‘Thalapathy 66’ second timetable of shooting started in Hyderabad yesterday, and as of late Vijay’s video from the Hyderabad, air terminal has become a web sensation. Prior, Shaam took his Instagram page to affirm his interest, and more actors are supposed to join as the shooting of the film is in progress. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead, Sarathkumar plays Vijay’s father, and Shaam plays his brother. Prakash Raj and Yogi Babu play supporting roles.
The shooting of ‘Thalapathy 66‘ is planned to go on till August 2022. The makers are planning for a Pongal 2023 release. The film is bankrolled by Dil Raju. Thaman is scoring music for Vijay for the film. Visuals will be taken care of by Karthick Palani and editing is done by Praveen KL.
