Yash becomes a new brand ambassador of beverage Pepsi

KGF 2 was a larger hit than KGF, grossing more than Rs 1250 crore globally in 2022. It became the second highest-grossing Indian film of 2022, and the accolades continue to flood in for the film’s star, Yash, who is now the Pan-India Company Ambassador for a big beverage brand, Pepsi, one of the world’s largest brands. This collaboration is all set to be kicked off this summer.

It is a well-known brand in the world of brands, and they have chosen to partner with one of India’s most well-known celebrities, Yash. Before the KGF star, the brand ambassadors were Bollywood celebrities. Yash took to his social media to announce his much-anticipated association with ‘Pepsi’. In the caption, he wrote, “Congratulations Pepsi, I love you”

Given that Yash’s appeal transcends age, town, and class, and that he has ardent admirers among the youth, women, family audiences, and children, he has been chosen by the main brand. Saumya Rathor, category lead, PepsiCo India, said, “We are thrilled to join hand with Yash, a name that truly defines the spirit of fearlessness and living life on your own terms, something that Pepsi consumers resonate strongly with.”

PepsiCo India sells a range of beverages including Mountain Dew, Pepsi, Tropicana, and Mirinda. The company also sells salty snacks under the Lay’s and Kurkure brands.

Yash has had spectacular success at the box office with KGF 2’s whopping first-day revenue of 54 crores in the Hindi market and 1200 crores globally. His followers are ecstatic about his new effort, and the anticipation is palpable.
