Women Development Corporation Wins National Award For Top Channeling Agency

The State Women’s Development Corporation has secured the coveted first position as the Best Channeling Agency for the De Shia Minority Finance Development Corporation, based on its exemplary performance in previous years. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the history of the Corporation, as it is the first time it has been recognized as the premier channeling agency by the National Minority Finance Development Corporation.

During this period, the Women’s Development Corporation successfully disbursed loans totaling Rs. 375 crore to 22,580 minority women in the state. The organization, since the inception of the current government, has also delivered various essential services to approximately 10 lakh women, both through the implementation of government initiatives and the disbursement of loans.Health Minister Veena George lauded this award as a well-deserved acknowledgment of the outstanding efforts carried out by the State Women’s Development Corporation. The Corporation’s attainment of this distinction is attributed to its performance in various operational aspects, including sustainable progress, high loan utilization, prompt repayment, and strategic capital investment.
