Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday reviewed the Ayodhya development project with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and said the city of Ram has to be developed as a spiritual and global tourism hub as well as a sustainable smart city. The Prime Minister said that Ayodhya should display our excellent traditions, the best developmental changes.
According to sources, Prime Minister Modi said that the human ethos of Ayodhya should match the infrastructure of the future. The Prime Minister called for collective efforts to celebrate the identity of Ayodhya, preserve its cultural vibrancy in innovative ways.
Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma, both the Deputy Chief Ministers of Uttar Pradesh, besides several senior officials of the Uttar Pradesh government were present in this review meeting held through video conference. A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office said that in the meeting a presentation was made by the officials of Uttar Pradesh on various aspects of the project related to the development of Ayodhya.
The vision for development of Ayodhya is to develop a spiritual center, global tourism hub and sustainable smart city, the statement said. In the meeting, the Prime Minister was apprised of various projects related to infrastructure development related to improving connectivity to Ayodhya. During this, projects related to airport development, railway station, bus stand, roads and highways were discussed.
It was also discussed during the meeting to set up a green suburb so that the facilities of ashrams, hotels and buildings of different states are available for the pilgrims visiting here, the statement said. The meeting discussed the creation of a modern tourism facilitation center and a museum of global scale.
