Vishnu Vishal and director Ramkumar will work together for the third time

Actor Vishnu Vishal and director Ramkumar are working together for the third time after creating hits with a rural comedy (Mundasupatti) and a psychological thriller (Ratsasan). The director says, “This will be in a genre that’s totally different from our previous films — a romantic film that will have elements of fantasy and emotional drama, set against the backdrop of a hill station.” He further adds, “I didn’t plan to make such a drastic shift in genre after Ratsasan. I had a couple of ideas and this one felt like the right one to attempt at this point of time.”

He explains that he selected Vishnu for the position because he was confident that Vishnu is an actor who fully understands my vision and provides the necessary performance. Vishnu enjoyed the story a lot and immediately connected with its feelings when he narrated the story. He further mentioned that this trait of his will be useful once the filming starts. Like in Mundasupatti, he plays a straightforward character, and the story revolves around how he responds to life’s challenges.

Ramkumar claims they are attempting to make Vishnu look more like a chocolate boy even though they aren’t striving for a major change in the actor’s appearance. The rest of the cast and crew are still being finalized, but actor Munishkanth, who also appeared in Mundasupatti and Ratsasan, has been brought on for a significant part.

The filmmaker clarifies that the project is still ongoing and that he will pick it up after he finishes this movie.
