Malayalam actor Vishnu Unnikrishnan is right now hospitalized. He met with an accident on the sets and suffered burns on Wednesday (June 1) evening, while shooting for a film. The actor has taken to his virtual entertainment handle to share his well-being update with fans. Vishnu Unnikrishnan shared a photograph of him, with gauzed hands, and expressed that the burn is being treated and he will be leaving the hospital in a few days.
The actor started his note by saying “Say NO TO PLASTIC,” and added that plastic surgery isn’t needed for his situation. He continued adding that he went over a few messages and calls from fans and wellwishers, because of a few deluding reports, and thus choose to post an update himself.
“My hands were burned, from the oil from the lamp, during the filming of ‘Vedikettu’. I am currently hospitalized and receiving treatment. Will need to rest for a few days. And will resume shooting once the burn starts healing,” Vishnu Unnikrishnan said in his note.
Vishnu Unnikrishnan was shooting for his first directorial film’Vedikettu’ in Vypin, along with his companion actor screenwriter Bibin Geroge. The duo has scripted for films ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan’, and ‘Oru Yamandan Premakadha’, and the upcoming movie will be their first as directors. The shooting was progressing at a good speed.
The incident took place on Wednesday. Vishnu Unnikrishnan was taken to a hospital in Palarivattom, where he is now going through treatment.
